Prepare ingredients: 500g of meat, 4 onions (about 800g), 3 potatoes (about 450g), 1 carrot (about 200g), 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and 1,400ml of water (can be reduced to 1,250ml when using a lid). 2. Sauté: Stir-fry the chopped meat and vegetables in a pot over medium heat until the onions turn light brown. 3. Add water and simmer: Reduce heat to low-medium and simmer for about 15 minutes, until the ingredients soften. 4. Add curry cubes: Crush the curry cubes and add them to the pot, stirring off the heat until melted. 5. Simmer until thickened: Bring the pot back to a boil, then simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the curry thickens.
